Terms and Conditions
For our upcoming HOTA- JIC National championships. We are introducing new formats and more options for players interested to play more events.
1.) A player can participate in 3 events in eligible age categories.
1 singles & 2 doubles. (2 singles not allowed)
2) In doubles event a player is allowed to play with a different partner in second doubles event. I.e.. same doubles partners cannot play in 2nd Doubles.
3) Two coaches are not allowed to play in Doubles together.
4) In any age category Minimum 8 entries in doubles and 16 entries in singles mandatory to conduct the tournament, incase there are less than 8 entries in doubles 16 entries in singles There will be no competition in that age category.
5) In each age category 4 wild cards for singles & 2 wildcards for Doubles
The following Regulations apply to all HYDOPEN Senior tournaments.
Tournament Rules & Regulations

Players have to play on any surface provided by the organisation.

Playing surface or court can be changed by the organisation.

Two coaches are not allowed to pair to play in any Doubles category.

Players are requested to register their entry before the last date.
Age Categories
-
Men’s Singles/Doubles: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+ age groups permitted.

Women’s Singles/Doubles: 25+ age group permitted.

Mixed Doubles: combined age must be less than 80+.
Eligibility:
-
To participate in an age category, a player shall have reached the minimum age limit by 31 December of the year in which the competition is held.

A player cannot play in more than one singles age category.
Doubles Format Rules
-
Registration must be done by both players.
-
A doubles player cannot change his/her partner after registration.

Once registration is done it cannot be transferred to another person or postponed to the next event/season.

New Rule: Players are allowed to play in two doubles age categories with different partners. The same partner is not allowed in the second doubles category.
Payments & Withdrawals
-
Payments made once will not be refunded.
-
If a player withdraws after registration for personal reasons or due to tournament date changes, there will be no refund (as this is a non-profit organization).

Paid amounts will be used only toward tennis development.
Venue & Logistics
-
Location and/or tennis court once allotted cannot be changed.

The Managing Committee will decide about team selection, but all travel & related expenses must be borne by players themselves.
Match Rules & Conduct

The umpire’s decision is final.
-
Players must report at least 15 minutes before the scheduled match time, else it will be declared a walkover.

Players should bring their own kit (Racket, Tennis shoes, Water bottle, Towel, Face mask, Napkin).

Players must wear proper sports dress.

Players must provide emergency contact number, blood group, and any medical condition to the organizing team.

ITF rules apply.
Age Verification
-
Age proof is mandatory.
-
Players must present passport or national identity card to the referee if requested, before the start of competition.
Authority & Organising Rights
-
At any point, the HOTA organizing committee’s decision is final.
-
If the number of entries is less than required, the organizing team reserves the right to postpone the tournament.
